With an ultra slim design, our specification wireless interlink relay will extend any Smart RF network with third party systems e.g. fire doors or telecare systems. Options to differentiate fire and CO alarm signals and activate relay contact independently from the other. Hardwire interlink version also available.

When installed, setup wireless interlink to a mains powered Specification smoke (SM-SN-1) or heat alarm (HM-SN-1)

What alarms are compatible with the FireAngel Smart Gateway FP1000W2-R?

The Pro Connected range of alarms and Specification alarms are all compatible with the FireAngel Gateway. You can remotely monitor your alarms using the Connected App.

How does wireless interlinking work in FireAngel alarms?

FireAngel Smart RF technology allows alarms to communicate wirelessly. When one alarm detects a hazard, all interconnected alarms will sound simultaneously, ensuring full-home coverage.

If you choose not to add a Gateway upon initial installation, you can add a Gateway to an existing network at any time in the future – this will allow for remote monitoring of devices as the Gateway will communicate with the FireAngel App using an internet connection, however, if the internet connection fails or cuts out the alarms will still continue to work and protect property, no internet connection means you will no receive any push notifications whilst the internet is not working.

Why does it say ‘do not remove module’ on the back of my alarm?

The RF modules purpose is to interlink your units with each other wirelessly. If the module is removed, the alarm cannot send a signal to any other unit within the network, so the interlink feature will not work.

Is Wi‑safe2 like Wi‑Fi?

While both are radio frequency technologies, Wi‑Safe2 is a dedicated mesh network technology that has been built by FireAngel specifically to support your safety‑critical smoke, heat and Carbon Monoxide alarms. Your FireAngel devices will not interact with your WiFi network.
