Our EXS230‑1 weatherproof external sounder is a compact, high output, 100dB(a) alarm sounder with low current consumption. Suitable for all general signalling applications including fire, security and process control.

How should smoke alarms be installed according to BS 5839-6:2019 LD1 standards?

For maximum protection (LD1), smoke alarms should be installed in escape routes, all circulation areas, living rooms, bedrooms, airing cupboards, meter cupboards, lofts, and garages.
